This project was done to create a space for local high school students to have easy access to job opportunities and internships that are available. Instead of relying on word of mouth and common jobs for high schoolers, the students can see everything that is available for them.
A student can go to the website and see available internships, part-time and seasonal work. If a student is interested in an opportunity, they can submit their interest/resume directly from the website. The student can also see upcoming career events and fairs happening in the area.
As an employer looking for help, the employer can submit their job listing on the website. Once the listing is submitted, it is not automatically added to the website. The administrator of the website is able to see and approve the listing before it is public on the website.
